ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Utilize a voice activated Vol Collect headset system to determine item locations and proper quantities of items to be selected.
  • Place and organize products in totes and on pallets in a stable and efficient manner for shipment.
  • Visually inspect product for damage or improper packaging and secure products with shrink wrap for safe delivery to retail locations.
  • Drive powered industrial equipment such as an electric pallet jack to take completed pallets to designated dock locations. Training and certification thru Weis are required to operate power equipment.
  • Complete preoperation inspection and all associated documentation prior to operating equipment and submit completed documentation to maintenance.
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, efficient, clean, and effective work environment while complying will all federal, state, local, OSHA regulations, and laws.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Working towards completion of high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
