In the application development department for social services at our main office in Kassel, we are looking to fill a position as

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (m/f/d)

as soon as possible.
The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of self-developed data processing procedures to support the tasks of our employees. We maintain a modern corporate culture with flat hierarchies and open doors and are a secure employer in a regulated environment.

Your tasks:

The main focus of the advertised position is the technical definition and development of data processing procedures. Your range of tasks includes

Collaboration in one of our development teams in the development and implementation of individual and complex client-server or web-based software

Participation in planning and conception in JIRA, as well as documentation in Confluence

Individual programming of software elements based on secure, stable and established technologies, but also taking into account current technology trends

Close cooperation with team colleagues and project management

Participation in cross-departmental projects of the Hessian State Welfare Association, as well as with the regional associations of Rhineland and Westphalia-Lippe
