Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and followup visits
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly
- Maintain electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks, Epic, Eaglesoft, or similar electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Knowledge of urgent care, ER procedures, and dental office operations is beneficial
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle phone systems effectively
