Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Develops and Reviews monthly accounts receivable for all companies.
Identifies problem accounts or payer trends and provides direction to associates when working with payers for resolution.
Assures Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are met with respect to recognizing bad debt expenses.
Assists with evaluation and development of best practice revenue cycle processes for area of responsibility.
Identifies problems and develops resolutions to facilitate timely processing of the HCFA 1500's, UB04's, electronic billing, and other billing formats.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Five years' experience in a Health Care Revenue Cycle setting
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Proven leadership and ability to lead others through change
Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle including third party payer requirements, as well as working knowledge of governmental, legal, thirdparty contractual and regulatory provisions related to revenue cycle activity.
