    Senior Program Analyst

    Position Summary:


    We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (OUSD P&R).

    This role is pivotal to the Resource and Program Integration team, providing critical research, analysis, and recommendations on strategic priorities for OUSD P&R.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Evaluate OUSD P&R research proposals for relevance and enterprise benefits.

    Analyze strategic priorities at the DoD and OUSD(P&R) levels.

    Condense extensive information into concise read-ahead and policy documents.

    Apply critical thinking to content, ensuring its relevance to the organization.

    Conduct thorough analysis, offering advice and drafting policies or procedures for government leadership.

    Assist and facilitate analytic research studies and projects to develop new or improved policies and programs.

    Coordinate and expedite projects for government staff representing OUSD(P&R) in high-level meetings.

    Engage in special projects, integrated product teams, and studies to enhance resource management processes.

    Research and implement new or improved processes for OUSD(P&R) programs and operations.

    Support the development and tracking of OUSD(P&R)-wide strategic planning performance goals.

    Assist government staff in formulating DoD positions on various issues and their impact on operations and resources.

    Provide comprehensive administrative and professional management support across various operational requirements, including organizational planning, administrative procedures, and manpower utilization.


    Qualifications:
    Degree in Political Science, Strategy, International Affairs, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Strong writing and editing skills.

    Ability to work extended hours when necessary.


    Experience working with or supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, with a thorough understanding of DoD and OUSD organizational structures preferred.

    Experience addressing DoD readiness issues.

    Proficiency with Advanced Enterprise Analytics at the Defense Department (Advana).

    Customer service experience is a plus.
