"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions who want to become even better with us.

Starting on August 1st, 2024, we are looking for you for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology (m/f/d) at DB Services GmbH in Port Reading. The vocational school is located in Leuna and the training workshop is in Port Reading.
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • Automation, energy supply, measurement and control technology in our factories, train stations and office buildings
  • You will learn how to install, test, maintain and repair complex electronic systems and equipment such as escalators, switchgear and cranes
  • Knowledge of network structures
  • Installation of electronic controls (PLC control)
  • You will become familiar with topics such as occupational safety and efficient energy use
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) school
  • You have good knowledge of math, physics and computer science
  • You are passionate about electronic devices and systems
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You are known for your conscientious and independent work style
