"This is a temporary position. This position is only authorized for a period that cannot exceed 180 days from date of entry into Germany."

Purpose:

The Senior Armament Technician will assist with managing activities and personnel engaged in maintenance and repair of field artillery (M109's, M1A2's, breech maintenance, borescopes, Recoil exercise, 120mm mortars, M242 chain gun M2A3, and armament systems for the Army Prepositioned Stocks - 2 (APS-2) contract.


As a Senior Armament Technician, you will be responsible for performing field and sustainment maintenance on artillery and armament systems for the APS-2 contract.

This includes maintenance on various weapons such as the M109, M1A2, M777A2 Howitzer, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars. You will also be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, servicing, repairing, and moving weapons in support of APS-2. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records and receive cross training as directed.
