Job Description:

As a member of our team in Moss Point, you will be responsible for examining and evaluating safety-related embedded systems and applications for both national and international clients.

You will oversee various projects, from creating proposals to analyzing requirements and conducting assessments and certifications. You will also support our clients throughout the entire development process, conducting assessments, audits, and reviews.

You will be the main point of contact for our clients, ranging from start-ups to industry leaders, providing guidance on secure product design.

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in multiple industries, such as factory automation, robotics, automotive, and railway.

You will also have the chance to learn about different aspects of functional safety and further develop your skills and interests, including software, software tools, operating systems, semiconductors, programmable logic controllers, sensors, drivers, and autonomous functions.

Additionally, there is potential for you to become a trainer in the field of functional safety and participate in national and international committees.

Qualifications:

Completed engineering degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
Previous experience in developing embedded systems with a focus on functional safety
Familiarity with analysis methods such as FMEA, SWCA, FTA, etc. is desirable
Knowledge of bus systems, communication standards and protocols, and software development processes (Vmodel, SPICE, CMMI, etc.) is advantageous
Strong team player with a conscientious work style, self
