The Building Materials Center has been a successful stationary and future-oriented trading company for over 30 years. We are available to our corporate and private customers for advice and purchase of building materials at our locations in Finsterwalde, Herzberg, and Lauchhammer.

To continue providing our customers with service-oriented and competent advice, we are currently looking for a Branch Manager (m/f/d) for our Herzberg branch.

Responsibilities:

  • You lead by example
  • You are responsible for personnel planning, act as the first point of contact for our employees, and stay informed about the technical topics of the location at all times.
  • Sales, customer consultation, sales promotion, and employee management are part of your daily tasks.
  • You keep an eye on sales topics and key performance indicators of the branch.
  • You maintain an overview of the supplier network, product range, and are responsible for locationspecific marketing measures.
  • You impress our customers with your product knowledge and finding the right solutions.
  • You maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
  • As a team player, you work together with your colleagues to ensure smooth processes every day.

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training or degree
  • Professional experience in sales of building materials
  • Indepth knowledge in the field of building materials and calculation
