Duties:


  • You will plan and execute the Joint Tactical Networking Center's (JTNC) Mission to ensure sound communications equipment and other capabilities.
  • You will oversee and manage JTNC overall programs and also work with Communications Leadership Board (C3LB), Secretary of Defense, etc. to address security and communication issues.
  • You will manage a high performance team to ensure mission goals are met.
  • You will be responsible for the DOD Information Repository (IR) and Joint Communications Marketplace (JCM) in order to maintain industry standards and provide analysis and review of communications products.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 901, proficiency level Intermediate, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Administrative and Management experience at or equivalent to the GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the cost, schedule and performance of a highly-visible Department of Defense program with significant risk, urgent requirements, significant technology advances, and high-dollar investment; 2) Working in various areas of the Department of Defense acquisition process, including requirements development, test and evaluation, contracting, or financial management; 3) Managing the work of an organization that includes civilian, military, and contractors in the performance of Department of Defense Acquisition work; and 4) Implementing Enterprise Architecture to govern IT systems.
