We are a family-owned NE metal foundry that specializes in individual parts as well as small and medium-sized series with a weight range of 0.5 to 800 kg. With our 60 employees, we produce complex components made of various materials for many well-known customers. We manufacture parts from aluminum and copper alloys using hand, machine, and die casting methods, serving a diverse customer base from various industries. Your role as a core maker at A. W. Schumacher

As a core maker, you will operate our cold box core shooting machines and produce cores from core sand for our entire product range, both for sand casting and die casting. Your main tasks will include setting up and running the machines, as well as cleaning, assembling, and finishing the cores.

In addition to cores, you will also be responsible for producing casting molds for our medium-sized parts, which are produced in smaller series.

What you bring to the table

Prior experience is not necessary, but if you have any, it is advantageous. You should be willing to work in shifts (early and late shifts) and possess a certain level of flexibility, resilience, and accuracy. We value individual responsibility and teamwork.
