Your education:
In our three-year vocational training, we prepare you for the exciting and responsible role as an educator.

After your training, you can work in various areas of child and youth welfare, such as in the U3 sector (children under 3 years old), in day care centers, or in open all-day schools.

The diverse fields of disability support are also open to you.
3 years of vocational training with integrated practical training
2 days of classes at the vocational school
15-20 hours per week of practical training in child and youth welfare

What you bring:
Intermediate school leaving certificate and a two-year vocational training in the social field (e.g. child care, social assistance)
or technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur) and 6 weeks of practical training in a social institution
or general university entrance qualification (Abitur) and 6 weeks of practical training in a social institution

Training content:
Understand and shape educational processes of children and adolescents
Establish a humanistic view of people in support processes
Further develop inclusive educational processes qualitatively
Maintain a partnership with parents/legal guardians
Collaborate with involved educational professionals
Take on leadership tasks in a team and responsibly coordinate work processes

Graduation:
State-recognized educator

Optional:
Technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur)
