Your new workplace

As a special needs center with a focus on visual impairment and additional needs, the Graf-zu-Bentheim-Schule offers blind and visually impaired, often multiply disabled or deafblind/hearing-impaired children a variety of support services. The preschool and school integration are tailored to the individual difficulties and disabilities, but also and especially to the abilities, skills and strengths of each child.

Your tasks

Independent preparation and implementation of classes and subject lessons (in coordination with the responsible special education teacher)
Management of official correspondence
Collaboration and coordination in interdisciplinary teams with our therapeutic day care center and therapy department

Your profile

Completed vocational training as a special education teacher or as an educator with additional qualification (special education seminar)
Specific further training in pedagogy with children and adolescents with visual impairment or blindness and additional comprehensive needs
