In this responsible position, you will lead and coordinate your team in the assembly of isolators for our pharmaceutical filling systems in Santa Ynez, CA.

You will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, promote your employees, and carry out capacity and external personnel planning using planning tools.

As the main point of contact, you will manage the interface to the management, HR departments, project management, construction, materials management, automation, and external service providers.

With your technical expertise, you will support your team in activities related to the commissioning of our machine lines and ensure a successful acceptance with the customer.

As a leader, mentor, and motivator, you will actively drive continuous process optimizations to increase efficiency.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a technical education with further training as a technician/master in the fields of mechanics or mechatronics.
Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in a similar leadership position and experience in the pharmaceutical machinery and plant construction, particularly in ventilation technology.
You identify with Optima's corporate structure and act responsibly, in partnership, and in the best interest of the company.
You apply your strong social, methodological, and analytical skills to achieve the company and project goals.
With your excellent German and English skills, you can communicate professionally within the company and with our international customers.
You are willing to travel internationally and see it as a welcome change.
