For the Automation Level 1 (TAA) department within the Automation, Industrial IT and Models (TA) main department, we are looking for a

Project Engineer (m/f/d) Automation Technology

Tasks:

  • Independent management and execution of cross-company automation projects in the field of basic automation, visualization, and interfaces to external or higher-level systems
  • Conceptualization, planning, coordination, and project engineering of automation systems, also in collaboration with suppliers
  • Independent development, optimization, and implementation of new technological systems
  • Evaluation of process data for the further development and optimization of existing processes
  • Knowledge of drive technologies and experience in the development and project engineering of drive concepts within automation technology
  • Ensuring cross-company standardization
  • Integration into the existing automation structure
  • Participation in on-call duty during commissioning

Requirements:

  • Completed degree with a focus on automation technology or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience required - preferably with leadership experience
  • Proficient knowledge of at least one Level 1 programming system (IEC e.g. FUP/CFC)
