Nurse - what is it?

In the generalist training for nursing professionals (m/f/d), the previously separate trainings for health and nursing care, pediatric nursing, and elderly care are combined.

In the pediatric specialization (pediatric nursing), trainees complete their practical training at the Evangelical Hospital Oberhausen (EKO) primarily in pediatric nursing throughout the entire training period.

Under supervision, you will perform nursing measures and later take on independent responsibility for organizing, designing, and managing the care of people of all ages. You will experience documentation and evaluation of nursing situations with patients. Dive into the world of medical therapies and support in medical diagnostics. Topics related to organization and administration will also play a role in your future daily routine.
