Our client is a globally operating company in the optical industry with a business unit in the field of semiconductor technology.


Your role:


  • In a larger interdisciplinary team, you will lead laterally the development of integration processes for highly complex optics and optomechatronic systems in the field of semiconductor lithography.
  • This involves using a variety of technologies from the areas of automation, measurement technology, sensors, joining technology, and software.
  • Take responsibility from the initial idea to the introduction into series production.
  • Develop concepts and design test samples, test and create decision templates based on the findings.
  • Keep an eye on optimizing performance, timing, and costs.
  • Also work closely with external partners, manage and provide technological support, create specifications and requirements, plan and conduct acceptance tests.
  • Summarize and present development results.
  • Carry out the handover of processes and related equipment to production, demonstrate process capability, and create the necessary documentation.

Your profile:


  • Completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and developing integration processes or custom machine construction.
  • Understanding of the functioning of complex components and systems and their tolerance budgeting.
