People with dementia need people who enjoy being there for them. Sonnweid is considered one of the leading institutions for people with dementia. In our competence center, our 325 employees from various fields care for and support 174 residents. General practitioners and geriatric psychiatrists ensure medical care.

The differentiated living and care concept is adapted to the stage of the disease, and our day/night station provides relief for caring family members with holiday stays.

With the semi-acute station, Sonnweid is taking new paths. It is the first semi-acute station within a nursing home in Switzerland. Our vision is to provide care, support, and treatment for people with particularly challenging behavior, whenever possible, at Sonnweid. Our mission, which addresses the needs of those affected by dementia, is at the heart of everything we do.
