The City Council of Pfungstadt is hiring


for the position of a full-time programmer for SPS / PLS (m/f/d) in the Department of Public Works, specifically in the Water and Sewage Division.

The Water and Sewage Division is responsible for all tasks related to water supply and sewage disposal. We ensure a reliable municipal infrastructure for the citizens of Pfungstadt and make a valuable contribution to environmental protection. The scope of work covers all aspects of urban water management.


Your responsibilities:

  • Independent project planning and programming of SPS controls for automation devices, as well as operating and monitoring devices
  • Development and programming of user interfaces for PCbased SCADA systems using FlowChief, Siemens WinCC, and WinCC Unified
  • Optimization and adaptation of SPS programs for existing systems
  • Connection and commissioning of remote control stations
  • Commissioning, maintenance, and monitoring of measurement, control, and regulation technology
  • Commissioning, coordination, and control of external engineering offices
  • System administration of PC networks and control systems for sewage treatment plants and waterworks (OHP system)
  • Troubleshooting in the areas of water supply and sewage disposal
  • Recording, management, and evaluation of water management data in GWManager

Requirements:

  • You have completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship with further training as a master (m/f/d), technician (m/f/d), or a degree in Bachelor of Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Programming knowledge
