5micron GmbH is a young company in the field of optical measurements. Over the past 3 years, we have successfully developed and implemented cutting-edge measurement devices, primarily for the aerospace industry, including clients such as Airbus and Rolls-Royce. Our projects focus on image analysis, providing topographic and other data on surfaces, such as aircraft wings during flight.

Your Responsibilities:

The 5micron team is seeking students to support the creation of non-standard measurement solutions.

Whether you are looking for part-time work or a bachelor's or master's thesis, we take pride in our measurement solutions and ideas and would like to share and discuss them with you as part of our team, in order to further advance our technology.


To do this, we believe you should have:

You will be a member of a team that rapidly develops methods and measurement solutions, primarily in the field of optical measurements.

In this team, we will explore new approaches, techniques, and technologies, and assess their potential as products, sometimes in competition with our colleagues' technical approaches.

New solution approaches will be quickly realized (in the form of a feasibility study) to evaluate their effectiveness. The next step is to create a more detailed demonstrator and beta products.

Our solutions are primarily focused on the aerospace industry, but have also been applied to other areas, such as the film industry.
