Your Responsibilities


In your role, you will initiate, monitor, and manage measures and activities to achieve MDS sustainability goals.

Tasks

  • Cross-functional implementation and monitoring of sustainability standards and derivation of best practices related to environmental issues such as energy, emissions, water, and waste at global locations
  • Consulting with locations regarding necessary investments in sustainability, energy, and environment
  • Management of CO2 data sources for monitoring our sustainability footprint and derivation of recommendations for action at locations
  • Responsible for regular reporting of relevant key figures and support in ensuring audit readiness at locations in accordance with ISO 50001
  • Collaboration with national and local stakeholders and interface partners to ensure compliant implementation and promotion of our sustainability projects
  • Assuming (partial) project management tasks

Your Qualifications

  • Relevant technical or scientific degree or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable extensive experience in sustainability and energy management
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach within project business
  • International travel readiness (up to 20%)
