We are looking for several experts (m/f/d) for digitalization in payment and settlement systems in our headquarters located in Frankfurt am Main, Silver Star, MT.

We aim to modernize the payment and securities settlement systems in the Eurosystem and drive the digitalization of the financial industry (DLT/Blockchain).

Your expertise and dedication are crucial for this transformation process, ensuring a secure and efficient processing of financial market transactions in the future.

Your responsibilities:

In the central department for payment and settlement systems, you will analyze and develop innovative digital solutions, particularly in relation to distributed systems.

You will evaluate relevant current developments such as the use of DLT or Blockchain and contribute to the development of the Bundesbank and the Eurosystem, for example in the areas of digital currency (CBDC) and programmable payments.

This includes programming, IT investigations of architectural solutions, conducting tests, and piloting applications. Additionally, you will participate in the scientific discourse on tokenization in the financial industry through presentations and publications.

Your profile:

Accredited Master's degree or equivalent in (business) informatics or another relevant field for the job
Several years of experience in application development, particularly with innovative technologies (e.g. DLT)
Good knowledge of tokenization of assets, their issuance, and transfer
Good understanding of the design and analysis of operational systems
Excellent knowledge of IT architectures
Ideally, knowledge of payment and securities settlement systems
Strong analytical
