DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for social media channels (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with brand voice, objectives, and target audience demographics.
  • Write clear, concise, and impactful product descriptions for ecommerce platforms that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas for social media campaigns, promotions, and advertisements.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies, leveraging insights to optimize copywriting efforts.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communication channels, maintaining brand identity and integrity.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines before publishing.
  • Stay uptodate with industry best practices, emerging trends, and platform updates to continuously improve copywriting strategies and techniques.
  • Work closely with designers, photographers, and other team members to integrate copy seamlessly into visual content.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in a digital marketing or ecommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize copy for search engines.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and ecommerce platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous work samples, demonstrating versatility in writing style and proficiency across different platforms.
Pay:

$55, $65,000.00 per year
