Our client - a globally leading solution provider in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of energy-efficient precision air conditioning units - is currently seeking a
Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) in Hamburg, Germany.


Your responsibilities:


  • Purchasing of predominantly industrial goods (especially electrical and electronic components)
  • Monitoring and analysis of national and international procurement markets
  • Development and implementation of procurement and supplier strategies
  • Comparison of offers and conducting contract negotiations
  • Continuous maintenance of existing supplier contacts
  • Quality and risk management, as well as optimization of purchasing processes
  • Category management

Your profile:


  • Successfully completed technical and/or business studies or a comparable qualification with a strong technical affinity
  • Relevant experience in industrial purchasing
  • Knowledge of relevant legal norms (German Civil Code, German Commercial Code) desirable
  • IT skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Negotiation skills in English, additional foreign languages are a plus
  • High level of initiative, teamwork, and aboveaverage commitment
  • Willingness to travel
