LAYERTEC GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned company with over 400 employees. The company develops and produces high-volume, sophisticated optics for renowned laser manufacturers, as well as individual components for research institutions and universities worldwide. The production includes both precision optics manufacturing (flat surfaces, lenses, aspheres) and their coating using modern sputtering and vapor deposition processes.
We are currently looking for a new team member in full-time (38 hours/week) as a Key Account Manager* at our headquarters in 99441 Mellingen (Thuringia).
Your responsibilities:
- Managing key customers
- Independently capturing and processing complex customer inquiries
- Preparation, creation, and presentation of offers and contracts
- Potential analysis for expanding the customer-product portfolio
- Development of short- to long-term sales plans
- Evaluation of feasibility, cost calculation, and pricing
- Technical consultation for customers regarding resource efficiency
- Support in product development
- Assisting the team in worldwide sales of custom optics to selected key customers
Your profile:
- A degree in industrial engineering, physics, laser and opto-techn
