About us:
The residential group AWG-Dahlem is part of the
EJF Children and Youth Services Association at the Diakoniezentrum. There, 10 young people are cared for. The pedagogical work is ensured by 5 educators who work in 24-hour shifts.


The team is saying goodbye to a long-time colleague who is retiring and is looking for colleagues with fresh energy to work in residential youth services.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in pedagogical relationship work and are eager to understand and professionally support complex life situations and dynamics together with us.

Our residential group is characterized by a warm atmosphere, is located in a house surrounded by greenery with a small garden, and offers space for creativity and initiative.


Our Children and Youth Services introduce themselves
We are looking for you to start on July 1, 2023, in part-time hours/week)
unlimited.

Your tasks include:

  • Stabilizing, promoting development, and supporting the independence of young people
  • Creating an inviting living and social atmosphere in the house
  • Cooperation with parents, schools, therapists, and youth welfare offices
Your current lifestyle fits the work in 24-hour shifts and day shifts.


You bring with you:

  • Training as an educator with state recognition or a comparable qualification
  • Special interest in working with mentally burdened children and adolescents
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
