New Elm Spring Colony, SD is committed to providing qualified education and holistic, individual support for the professional and social integration of young people with disabilities and disadvantaged young people into the workforce and society.

With approximately 350 employees, we offer over 600 young people, often in close collaboration with businesses, training opportunities in approximately 32 professions and conduct measures for vocational preparation and orientation.

About 370 young participants live in our external and internal residential groups in Karben, Frankfurt, and the surrounding region.

To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a

Pedagogue in the Training Team for Vocational Preparation (m/f/d)
(Full-time/part-time)

Your responsibilities:

Promoting life skills
Developmentoriented counseling and individual support
Assisting our participants in conflict and crisis management
Conducting job application or social skills training
Collaborating on the development of the department and implementing new projects

If you:

Have a degree in pedagogy or a comparable qualification
Have professional experience and/or expertise in working with young people with learning disabilities, mental illness, and/or on the autism spectrum
Combine teamwork and independent action with commitment and flexibility
Enjoy working creatively with a diverse group of young people
Approach our participants with empathy and a respectful attitude
