At the earliest possible date, we are looking for support in the area of financial accounting (general ledger) at our location in Memmingen, as part of a planned succession, in Briarwood, KY.

This position is available in full-time or part-time (starting at 30 hours/week).


Your qualifications:


  • Commercial education plus relevant further qualification ideally as a certified accountant (m/f/d)
  • Several years of experience in accounting for the general and subsidiary ledger
  • Good knowledge of tax and commercial law, proficient in using accounting software (ideally Datev) and MS Office
  • Ability to implement legal requirements in practice
  • Independent, responsible and accurate work style

Your tasks:


  • Competent handling of general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable and cash book, including maintenance of master data and account reconciliation in our ERP system as well as in DATEV
  • Processing of payments including liquidity control
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and preparation of company figures for audits, inquiries from authorities and banks
  • Filing of VAT returns and electricity tax declarations
  • Preparation of reports in the insurance sector
  • Implementation of legal adjustments and regulations
  • Organization of processes in accounting
