Description

Responsibilities in Lugoff, SC would include but are not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable tasks such as booking payments, processing invoices, and handling cash transactions
  • Recording business transactions, verifying financial data, and providing clerical support to ensure timely payment of organization's obligations
  • Assisting in monthend and yearend closing procedures according to HGB and IFRS standards, including intercompany charges, foreign currency valuation, and international VAT returns
  • Collaborating with controlling department for asset accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or previous experience in an accounting role, preferably using SAP FI/CO and with knowledge in general ledger, subledger, and asset accounting for multiple company codes
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Pragmatic and handson approach with creative problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent communication skills in English, knowledge of German is a plus
