More than just a start:

Your career path begins at Wilhelm Schroeder in Herscheid.
Here, you will be responsible for tool production and maintenance for our injection molding machines.
What do we do? We process materials ranging from 5 mm steel strips to soft plastic seals and combine them to create functionally integrated assemblies for the automotive, medical, and household technology industries.
You will embark on your journey with approximately 6 apprentices in Herscheid.
In our company, you will have the opportunity to interact with nearly 160 employees. Without exception.
After 3.5 years, you have a good chance of being hired on permanently.

And this is how your training will go:
You will start with the basics of manual and machine metalworking.

How do you drill, tap, and ream with precision? You will also learn machine processes such as turning, milling, and grinding.

Then, you will learn how to assemble our injection molding tools based on drawings, read technical drawings, and program CNC machines.

Towards the end of your training, you will independently adjust tool inserts and gain an overview of all process technologies and production methods.
