Job Description Summary


This role will support the CDO and VP of Admin in supporting the Lodging Development team and Retention processing new franchise sales and renewals.

This position will also provide reporting data support to the EVP President and other executives from the CRM.


Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

  • Primary responsibilities are to help manage the new sale and/or retention process of converting existing branded, independent, or new built properties from their former brand to a Sonesta branded property or maintaining existing Franchisees in the Sonesta system.
  • Position works directly with the Manager of Franchise Administration, VP of Franchise Administration, VP of Retention, Lodging Development and CDO, and other internal departments to ensure new Franchisee's and existing Franchisees are properly executed and/or renewed in the system within standard defined guidelines.
  • Foster positive relationships with the LD team through consistent communication and support.
  • Engage all relevant internal departments and services prior to transitioning new Franchisee's hotel to respective brand and/or renewal.
  • Insure completeness of legal files.
  • Transition new Franchisee Onboarding and Transitions team members upon conclusioncompletion of execution of property.
  • Effectively utilize and collaborate with resources across different departments and corporate office.
  • Process background and credit checks for deals that have been awarded key money.
  • Monitor and maintain quantitative information regarding new sales, fees received, KM commitment, KM distribution, and renewals, up to and including all relevant franchise group information and most current business needs.

Organizational Management

  • Support, comply and promote company initiative, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

  • College degree or equivalent
  • CRM management and reporting experience is required.
  • Work effectively from a remote environment.
  • Ability to work in a highvolume environment.
  • Works well interdepartmentally as well as across divisions.
