We are an expanding medium-sized company with approximately 80 employees and have been developing, producing, and distributing valves for pump protection worldwide for over 70 years.

As in-house training is an important pillar of our company, we are looking for motivated and dedicated high school graduates for an apprenticeship as a machinist.

The next training year will start on August 1st, 2024 and will last for three and a half years.

In this apprenticeship, you will learn:

  • Manufacturing of individual parts and small series made of metal using cutting processes such as drilling, turning, and milling
  • Working with conventional and CNCcontrolled machine tools
  • Programming, setting up, and operating machining machines and monitoring them during the production process
  • Maintenance and inspection tasks, mainly on the mechanical components of the machines
  • Functional testing and quality assurance of individual parts and assemblies

What you should bring:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Manual dexterity and technical understanding
  • First practical experience, for example through completed short internships, is desirable
  • Carefulness and a sense of responsibility
  • Enjoyment of technical questions and working in a team
  • Good spatial imagination
