The DGMK German Scientific Society for Sustainable Energy Sources, Mobility and Carbon Cycles is a non-profit organization based in Hamburg that supports a network of professionals from industry and research and actively contributes to the development of the energy sector. The DGMK provides a neutral platform for scientific and technical exchange between science and practice.

We are looking for a Scientific Officer (m/f/d) in part-time hours for the DGMK office in Hamburg at the earliest possible date.

The position is assigned to the DGMK Department of Geo-Energy Systems and Subsurface Technologies. This department deals with the intelligent use of the deep subsurface, i.e. production of crude oil and natural gas, sustainable use of natural gas and hydrogen storage, geothermal energy for local heat supply, and extraction of highly demanded metals such as rare earths and lithium worldwide.

The position is limited to 24 months.

YOUR TASKS:

Administrative management and moderation of technical working groups
Active participation in committee meetings of professional associations at the national level
Communication with industry, research institutions, authorities and associations
Project management of industry and publicly funded research projects
Support in the conception and implementation of events (workshops and conferences)
