The ifp Institute for Product Quality GmbH is an accredited testing laboratory based in Berlin. Since our founding in 2004, we have become one of the leading laboratories in the field of food analysis, as well as for the analysis of feed, drinking water, and pharmaceuticals. Our institute is also involved in numerous research projects, developing and producing innovative diagnostics for use in testing laboratories. Users around the world benefit from the expertise of the ifp in the field of food analysis and kit development through collaborations.

With around 400 employees in research and development, production, testing laboratories, and administration, we work daily at three locations to improve the quality and safety of food, feed, pharmaceuticals, and drinking water.

To strengthen our team at the Ohrdruf near Gotha location, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in the field of microbiology for food:

Your tasks:

Conducting microbiological tests
Application of various methods for food analysis (traditional methods, PCR, etc.) as well as identification of microorganisms
Evaluation and documentation of results in the laboratory information system (LIMS)
Implementation of quality control measures
