SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley Construction is expanding its asphalt crews within the Site Division and is actively seeking qualified individuals for multiple positions including
paver operators, roller operators,
milling machine operators, and
milling foremen.

We are looking for motivated individuals with strong work ethics, positive attitudes, and a commitment to learning.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

_ ASPHALT PAVER OPERATOR_

Operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
Ensure company equipment is wellmaintained by performing regular checks, greasing, and fluid inspections.
Conduct daily machine inspections and routine maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment during and after operations.
Perform additional duties as required.

_ROLLER OPERATOR_

Demonstrate a working knowledge of paving operations.
Operate rollers of all sizes proficiently.
Ensure company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids.
Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and greasing.
Perform additional duties as required.

_MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR _

Utilize milling equipment to remove existing asphalt and prepare surfaces for new asphalt.
Maintain equipment in optimal condition through routine checks and greasing.
Control the location, direction, speed, and loading of asphalt materials.
Perform additional duties as required.

_MILLING FOREMAN_

Ensure job quality and adherence to standards.
Promote and enforce safety measures consistently.
Maintain accurate field logs and organize job sites efficiently.
Daily communication with the Project Manager or Superintendent regarding schedule and production requirements.
Monitor weather conditions and plan accordingly.
Ensure daily cleanliness and organization of job sites.
Track production and supervise crews effectively.
Perform additional duties as required including but not limited to manual labor.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous equipment operating experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications preferred.
Maintain all tools required for the position.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends, as needed.
Comfortability working in various weather conditions.
Must successfully pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
