Packer (m/f/d) for the logistics sector - Clinton, NE, United States - Stellar Enterprises
Description
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of incoming goods (identification material number, quantity, damages)
- Packing and, if necessary, repacking of individual parts, assemblies, devices, and systems according to packaging instructions
- Coordination and procurement of special packaging
- Operation of forklifts, material handling equipment, and manually and motoroperated lifting equipment
- Preparation/compilation of shipments for various carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight forwarders), separated by domestic/EU/third countries
- Compliance with and application of legal regulations (air security law, ISPM15, dangerous goods, etc.)
- Disposition, inventory management, and ordering of packaging materials, as well as their incoming inspection
- Operational cooperation with internal departments
- Flexible deployment in other areas of logistics (e.g. incoming goods, internal logistics,...)

Qualifications:
- Completed training as a commercial packer (m/f/d) or specialist for logistics (m/f/d)
- Solid knowledge in handling sensitive devices and parts
- Knowledge of load securing and handling of dangerous goods
- Good user knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Independent and customeroriented way of working
- Forklift license and driver's license class B
- Good knowledge of German
