The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) is the national institute that provides expert opinions and statements on questions of food, feed, and chemical safety and consumer health protection in Germany, based on internationally recognized scientific evaluation criteria.

In these areas, it advises the federal government as well as other institutions and interest groups. The BfR conducts its own research on topics closely related to its assessment tasks. It is a legal entity within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).

In the Pesticide Safety Department of the BfR, the following position is currently available in the "Toxicology of Active Substances and their Metabolites" specialist group, initially limited to two years:

Scientific Employee for the Health Risk Assessment of Plant Protection Products (m/f/d)

As the hiring is based on § 14 para.
