- Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
- Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Answers phones and call lights
- Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
- Assists patient transporter as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience:One year 1 year of nursing assistant experience (preferred)2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)Certifications:Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)Current BCLS certification (required)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Basic computer knowledge
