What to expect

As a Gumbranch employee, you will primarily be involved in the annual and group audits of companies in the financial services industry, particularly banks and/or asset managers, according to HGB and IFRS using a risk-oriented audit approach.

In this context, you will be extensively involved in business model, process, and result analyses, supporting the audit and evaluation of business organization and handling all issues related to accounting, valuation, risk control, and management.

As a (Senior) Manager, you will be responsible for the professional leadership and motivation of a team of 5 to 10 colleagues, while also acting as the main point of contact for clients on site.

Your responsibilities will also include auditing credit, custody, and/or securities transactions, as well as preparing statements on regulatory topics.

What you bring

You have successfully completed a degree in economics, preferably with a focus on auditing, taxes, accounting, and/or finance.

You have several years of professional experience in auditing financial statements of banks, asset managers, and/or financial service providers according to HGB, as well as in auditing reporting packages according to IFRS.

Having passed the CPA exam and experience in managing employees is an advantage.

You possess a high level of motivation, proactivity, and leadership skills.

You have excellent communication skills in both German and English.
