About the Job

We are currently seeking a DevOps / Linux System Developer (m/f/d) to support the development and implementation of new modules, as well as the maintenance of our IServ school server with a stunning skyline view.

If you have a degree in computer science, are a trained IT specialist, or have several years of experience in software development or system administration with Debian GNU/Linux, then this job is perfect for you. You should be fluent in SMTP, able to tame demons, and automate tasks with scripts in Linux.

Our System Development Includes:

Bash, Perl, Python, and PHP
Debian GNU/Linux
System services such as Cyrus, Exim, Samba, LDAP, and FreeRADIUS
Package management (apt and dpkg)
Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Git for source code management

Your Responsibilities:

Analyze and resolve complex problems, including third-party software
Develop modular software for our backend services
Create scripts for automatic system configuration and maintenance
Perform SQL performance analysis and tuning
Communicate and collaborate closely with our customer service, system administration, and other internal clients
