    Asset Protection Associate

    Flight Club NYC Retail Store / ASSET PROTECTION / FULL-TIME NON-EXEMPT

    This role will support the local Asset Protection Team in our Flight Club NYC Retail Store. This position reports to the AP Supervisor/Manager. The incumbent will help ensure a safe and secure work environment by acting as a visual deterrent to potential loss while also documenting any/all required activities.

    In the Asset Protection Associate role, you will:

  • Foster healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests, while demonstrating a superior customer service attitude.
  • Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times that is in compliance with GOAT Group's uniform standards.
  • Assist in reviewing POST Orders for your assigned facility.
  • Ensure that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced.
  • Assist in enforcing the facility-level IIPP Program, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, and the Fire Prevention Program.
  • Assist with access control compliance, the visitor program, and access card audits.
  • Thoroughly examine and record logistics carrier information in accordance with CTPAT compliance standards where applicable.
  • Complete opening/closing checklists and communicate findings.
  • Support the local management team with any planned and/or special events.
  • Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy.
  • Conduct thorough package inspections, including jackets/coats anytime employees are exiting the facility (warehouse/retail store).
  • Monitor all surveillance cameras.
  • Document unlawful/suspicious activities.
  • Review CCTV footage to document after-hours building opening/closing procedures.
  • Assist in the process of evicting trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive at the scene.
  • Be trusted to make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies, requiring good judgment both proactively and reactively.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operations.

    • AP Associate - Command Center Position:

    Command Center is located in our Fontana, CA WarehouseMonitor specified sites remotely via CCTV observation: 11 International Warehouse Facilities: APAC, EU7 Domestic Warehouse Facilities2 Domestic Corporate Offices1 International Corporate Office2 Domestic/1 International Flight Club Retail LocationsRespond to alarm notifications per SOPUtilize Daily Alarm Response Log to report any activity observedContact law enforcement for facilities being monitored domestically and internationally when appropriateEscalate any incidents via internal communication SOPUtilize technology to remotely communicate with individuals at sites being monitored domestically and internationallyBecome familiar with multiple security layouts and be able to utilize digital maps

    We are looking for:

  • A motivated and team-oriented individual with one or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience. This includes the following:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred
  • Audit and compliance experience preferred
  • Ability to coach and train team members
  • Ability to confidently handle personal and/or sensitive information

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business to include nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision

  • Planned/unplanned overtime may be requiredCCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required.Ability to work in a typical warehouse or retail environment. This could include dust, fluctuating temperatures, and extended time frames of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
    • The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options).
