Challenges for Participants in Albertville:
  • Do you enjoy working with your hands, especially with needle, thread, and sewing machine? Then you will be thrilled by this diverse training program, where you will learn for two years how to independently create clothing and other textile items according to patterns – by hand and with the machine.
  • For this, you will first familiarize yourself with the materials to be worked with (fabrics, textiles) before learning and loving various sewing techniques.
  • Your main area of work will be our alteration tailoring shop, where you will repair, modernize, and alter various garments.
  • Of course, ironing and fixing materials, as well as maintaining sewing machines, will also be part of your tasks.
  • This will quickly enable you to design the entire workflow yourself: from selecting fabrics to work planning and documentation to quality control.
  • In addition, at the Gotha vocational school, you will learn all about sewing small parts, ironing and cutting, pattern making, and much more.
