The German Red Cross Association Berlin is the umbrella organization for social welfare and national relief services and is part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

As one of the 19 state associations of the German Red Cross (DRK), we coordinate activities for the DRK in Berlin and serve as the umbrella organization for its branches in the capital city.

We offer a wide range of assistance and services for children and families, seniors, people with a migration background, people with disabilities, and those in need.

Our work is guided by the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross and the DRK guidelines.

The Department of Emergency Call Systems of the state association supports older and needy individuals in living safely and independently for as long as possible - with the reassurance of knowing that quick help and qualified contacts are available 24/7 in case of emergency.

Our services include home emergency call systems, mobile emergency call services, dementia systems, and the protection of lone workers.

The team is responsible for scheduling appointments with new clients, maintaining and repairing the systems, and managing emergencies, including coordination with authorities.
