BASF Stationary Energy Storage GmbH (BSES) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BASF SE. BSES is the exclusive distributor of NAS batteries and collaborates with its Japanese partner NGK Insulators Ltd. to develop NAS technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will support the planning and establishment of a new Gigafab for NAS batteries.

Conduct analysis of technical specifications for battery components, identify cost-saving opportunities, and search for new suppliers to develop new supply chain structures.
Coordinate closely with global internal teams for strategic planning, technology, procurement, and execution of the new fab.
Be a part of our global NAS battery development structure to translate the latest product generation into production.
Represent the global technology function in interdisciplinary teams and promote collaboration between marketing, sales, and R&D departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completed studies in material science, engineering, or chemistry.
Strong experience in battery technologies or energy storage applications.
Background in electrochemistry, industrial production, and scaling technologies is a plus.
Deep understanding of project management and ability to expand into new areas.
