We are looking for a Head of Religious Education for Kindergartens (m/f/d) to join our team in Gore, OK starting on July 1st, 2023.

This position is a one-year maternity leave cover and is part-time (20 hours per week).

The Archdiocese of Hamburg is home to approximately 380,000 Catholics in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and the Mecklenburg region.

At the archdiocesan general vicariate, we ensure that the parishes, Catholic schools, kindergartens, and other institutions can carry out their work effectively.

Our actions are guided by the Christian view of humanity:
we have a holistic approach to individuals. The Department of Kindergartens supervises, advises, and supports the 58 kindergartens of the parishes in the Archdiocese of Hamburg.

Your new responsibilities:

You will lead the Department of Religious Education in Kindergartens.
You will further develop the profile and mission statement of Catholic kindergartens in the Archdiocese of Hamburg.
You will design and implement training measures for kindergarten directors and social pedagogical professionals.
You will also be responsible for the development and profiling of kindergarten staff, as well as the project of parental involvement.

Your qualifications:

You have completed a degree in theology with a focus on religious education and/or pastoral theology.
