We have recently taken in a female dog in Fern Prairie, WA. We decided that this was the best time since we are on vacation and have more time to dedicate to her adaptation. However, starting in September, we will be returning to work and have many concerns about how she will behave when left alone. We know very little about her past experiences and she is very fearful of people. She walks with her tail between her legs and although we have managed to get her to do her business outside, she often does it inside when we leave her alone for just 5 minutes. She is very dependent on us and follows us everywhere.
