Summary


The Internship site monitor is responsible for playing an active role in observing and monitoring Summer Youth Employment (SYEP) participants.

Essential Functions:

  • Collect timesheets on a weekly basis and ensure completion with accuracy
  • Cooperate and maintain a working relationship with the assigned worksite supervisors
  • Works in collaboration with other vocational program staff (e.g. job developer, program supervisor, and other program staff) to complete comprehensive vocational plan(s).
  • Assists in administration of performancebased tests and evaluations.
  • Prepare weekly assessment reports in detail and concise manner that reflect field observations
  • Keeps records up to date and in good order.
  • Meet performance expectations/metrics, as defined for the position within the assigned program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diplomacy or equivalent
  • Effective Communications skills both oral and written form
  • Excellent organizational skills essential to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multitask.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with adolescents and young adults in a vocational or human service setting

Work environment:

  • Work may be performed in the field or an office environment with normal heating and cooling.
Travel is required.


Schedule:
Monday and Tuesday: 8:00 am -4:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am -12:00 pm

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
