Freight Forwarding Specialist for Sea Freight Export 36-48k (m/f/d)


Responsibilities:

  • You will handle the import and export processing of goods of all kinds, with the export share accounting for around 80%.
  • You will take care of the preparatory customs clearance and organize the shipment of goods.
  • You will work with our partners and offices overseas for the worldwide organization of FCL and LCL shipments.
  • You will handle telephone inquiries from sea freight customers, prepare quotes, and issue invoices.
  • If necessary, you will establish contact with colleagues in Frankfurt who are responsible for air freight exports.

Qualifications:

  • You have completed training as a freight forwarding specialist or have several years of experience in logistics as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. Previous experience in sea freight is important.
  • You are confident in dealing with customers, both in writing and on the phone. You enjoy handling order acceptance and complaint processing.
  • You have good German and English skills, as you will also work with international customers.
  • You are a true team player who can be relied upon.
  • You are familiar with Atlas and ALPO.
  • You appreciate fairness, transparency, and flat hier
