We are currently seeking a Controller for an international food trading company located in the heart of Hamburg, Germany. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code) and conducting variance analyses
  • Responsible for the financial management of operational subsidiaries, monitoring key performance indicators, and conducting regular cost analyses
  • Developing standards for operational controlling and participating in process harmonization
  • Responsible for forecasting and planning for the subsidiaries within the group's planning process
  • Assisting with group consolidation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
  • Managing various controlling projects

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training, degree in business administration, or equivalent qualification with relevant work experience
  • Several years of experience in controlling, ideally with experience in group consolidation
  • Knowledge of consolidation software IDL and Microsoft AX/D365 is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Teamwork, flexibility, and a high level of commitment
  • Structured, timely, and serviceoriented work style
