- Fabrication of electromechanical assemblies using hand and machine tools.
- Evaluate and repair specialized electrical and mechanical assemblies.
- Operation of specialized electrical test equipment.
- Procuring parts and working with vendors, quality control of parts and assemblies.
- Construction and encapsulation of acoustic arrays and cables.
- Manual soldering/rework of surface mount components on printed circuit boards.
- Fabrication of cable harness assemblies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate quality and assembly documentation.
- Other related functions as assigned.
- High school graduation or GED.
- Four years' experience in the skilled construction and maintenance of specialized electronic equipment using hand and machine tools.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, wiring, soldering, and reading electrical schematics.
- Must be self-motivated and able to self-pace to complete job in time allowed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to listen, remember both written and verbal directions, and consistently apply those instructions to your work.
- Evidence of skills in the following areas: working with new technologies, being highly organized, planning and coordinating multiple tasks, effective time management, attention to detail, effective problem solving skills, using excellent judgement, working independently with sensitive and confidential information, maintain a professional demeanor, working as a team member without daily supervision, effectively communicating with all groups of clients, working under pressure, accepting supervision.

- Practice building electronic and mechanical assemblies including wiring assemblies.
- Experience with additive manufacturing, planning and operation.

Purpose
Perform skilled technical work in the construction of electrical and mechanical assemblies and subsystems of specialized equipment for the Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL).
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
